The helmet ad is subtle enough that I don’t see any major issue with it.
The division name should be a non-issue. The main part of the name holds no traditional meaning, the conference names aren’t for the most part plastered all over the place and even if not for those two reasons these divisions will only be in place for this season.
Heck I would even be willing to put a divisional patch on the jerseys for this unordinary season, no different than the anniversary patch’s of teams and years that have been used before.
The only concern myself and I think most have is the uniforms becoming like the European league’s. I don’t know what doing this will or won’t pave the way for but just keep the jersey’s and the socks clean |
